Bruce lost Rondon and Perez this season. While Rondon was on loan he was a big part of how you played. I'm not really understanding how it's Bruce's fault a signing you were signing before he was appointed is shite 😂

Our attack has changed enough for me to make allowances on that side of things. but we've the same defensive unit that we did under the previous manager, and yet the performances are significantly worse.

It's Bruce fault for playing that signing in an unfamiliar role for much of the season. It's no shock that the best performances from Joelinton have come when he's been played not as a lone, isolated targetman, but as a forward coming in from the wings. It'd be like playing Shelvey on the wing, or asking Carroll to chase onto long balls over the top.

That's not true. Results and League position show that results haven't been worse, and that those results have delivered this league position. They don't necessarily give a full picture of performances. Performance metrics give a better picture of performances. e.g. Newcastle could play shit, be absolutely battered and fluke a massively deflected own goal to give them the win. Liverpool could absolutely batter a team, entertain the crowd for 90 minutes, and pepper the goal with shots, but the 'keeper has a worldy and they only get the draw.
Your way of judging a performance says Newcastle performed better.
