The majority will be the people who do not want to buy a season ticket not to watch football in the ground, me included. As soon as it is safe to go back, I will buy my season ticket again

My decision to not renew wasnt because of Donald, i didnt renew becasue I dont think we will be allowed back in ground until 2021 (at the earliest), ill buy a season ticket as soon as we can go again!
Misleading to read to much into the 10k figure, IMO

It's not 'mad' and it's not 'blind' to renew, just as it isn't 'disloyal' to cancel. Just different people making different decisions in the worst circumstances the club has ever been in.

I’ve no issue with those who’ve renewed, I understand it but it’s not a badge of honour. If everyone had took that position these charlatans running our club would know we’re all gullible and willing to put up with anything under the banner of loyalty.

As they’ve done with everything they’d monetise that loyalty and continue to exploit it because we’d have proved well take it.

The 14k have sent a massive message and that’s something that could actually benefit us in the long run. It already has in fact as it got the shambolic and disrespectful first statement retracted.

So don’t look down on those people. And while I respect your decision you aren’t special, you don’t deserve praise. You should be thanking them for giving you a better deal and potentially improving the future of your club.

Only time will tell, but if they do their homework properly they'll see the potential that is there.

Meanwhile, Donald will be getting the message and he will have to drop his valuation if he's to sell

What do you expect ? There comes a point where even the most loyal, devoted and mistreat fans have to say "enough is enough".

Now is that time and it's self inflicted.

A cup final ticket for life will most likely amount to zero tickets, so not really an incentive/reward. Is it ?
 
Regarding the refunds for last season, the club is offering a pro rata refund for the three missing Covid19 matches but not the Bury game (offering instead free entry into a EFL Trophy match).

It occurred to me what would happen in the event of another club next season “doing a Bury” and being unable to complete their fixtures before completing their SoL fixture?

Clearly it does not take a prophet to see that many clubs could find themselves in a Bury situation the way things are at the moment (I hope it does not happen of course since that would be terrible for any set of supporters).

Originally the club said that 2020-21 Season Card holders would NOT be entitled to a pro rata refund for BCD matches and would get a stream instead. After a fans backlash they did a complete U turn and offered a pro rata refund for all BCD matches.

However, they have not said what would happen in the event of another Bury situation(s) - Will these matches be treated the same as BCD matches (BCD Rules) or will they be treated differently (Bury rules) ?

I have not renewed but do not begrudge anyone who has (their money, their decision) HOWEVER I do believe the club have a duty to clarify this so supporters are fully aware of what they are buying or not buying as the case may be.

Being mugged off by these small time arsrholes and coming back for more is only loyalty to getting more of the same... This is like Einsteins definition of insanity

doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Some on here are banging on about only the hardcore going back... That's only partly true... Sadley those still giving them money aren't part of the solution
