f***ing wankers The fella who owns the plane and agreed to it just as bad as the c***s who’s idea it was.
I thought the same at the time. Ill judged decision to agree to this as your companies reputation is now finished. Some company in Blackpool apparently.

This largely comes about because we have a growing number of completely disenfranchised working class people who are in low wage jobs, or have no job at all who believe they are either completely ignored in 21st century Britain, not taken seriously and have the increasing sense they’re superfluous and do not matter. They also happen to be white.

When they see people in the media or on TV talking about things like “white privilege,” it is completely anathema to them. Because while every global corporation and media outlet is bending over backwards to show how diverse they are, and show how utterly opposed to any discrimination towards various movements citing oppression (and to be clear I’m not saying they aren’t), there’s a growing underbelly of people who think that while this is occurring they are completely insignificant and that any of their grumblings will see them automatically castigated as racist and not taken seriously. Which of course only lends to the deep underlying sense of dissatisfaction.

I watched Michah Richards earlier talk about how he doesn’t understand why people would want to display a banner saying “White Lives Matter” and the irony is, that of course he can’t, because he is a privileged multimillionaire former footballer who has been given a platform on Sky. The irony is that none of the people who had a whip-round for that banner, which regardless was still completely misguided, and that’s to say the least, will ever have anywhere near the wealth or privilege of a Micah Richards. Nonetheless, he gets to use his platform on Sky Sports to subsequently talk about how he can’t understand why people would do such a thing thus helping to form a consensus that anyone who would suggest such a thing is essentially just a stupid racist blind to the suffering of black people. And perhaps, the problem here becomes a little bit clearer. The perception becomes one of black and ethnic people with lucrative positions in various forms of media - far more lucrative than the average wage of many of their viewers - telling a large subsection of the increasingly surplus population that they (the ones in the media in lucrative positions) are, or are at least representative of the marginalised and oppressed. Which of course isn’t accurate in itself, because people like Micah Richards are no more representative of the life of a BAME youth in say, Moss Side than they are an unemployed white kid in Burnley.

So the overall perception of “multi-cultural Britain” from the kind of people who‘d support a “White Lives Matter” banner isn’t correct. That perception though isn’t corrected by just castigating a growing subsection of British society who are increasingly disenfranchised with a misplaced sense of anger, fear and distrust as “disgraceful” or “racist.” Not that there’s any quick and easy solution to it either. What a mess.
The white privilege element does not mean wealth/ power etc. in Itself - there are of course many white people in poverty or bad situations. White privilege simply means that they don’t suffer for the colour of their skin, if they are in a bad place it’s not because of their ethnicity.

Many BAME people do suffer for the colour of their skin.

Put simply, to everyone who doesn’t get it - answer this question. Have you ever faced a difficult situation and had extra worries on top due to your skin colour?

Ie have you had a job interview and worried that the interviewer may be even slightly racist or prejudiced and that your ability to do the job will not be the deciding factor.

Have you ever been pulled over by the police and worried that they’ll look at your skin colour and judge you more harshly?

As a (white) father, why are you lumping unmarried and absent together when they aren't remotely similar? Me and my partner aren't married, neither of us are religious and we haven't really seen the point of spending a fortune for a day to get a certificate. I raise my son as much as any married father does.
Your white and I guess don’t go out committing crime then play the racist card when stopped by the police.
Crime is proportionally way higher for kids brought up in unmarried families especially where the father is absent.

No such thing as bad publicity, they will be getting loads of free advertising from this

Isn’t it just
Funny how this country is so “racist “ yet people are trying to get here by any means they can to come and live in this “racist“ hell hole
Back in the mid 90's I became very good friends with someone who later became senior with the IMF and is leading African economist. Some words he imparted on me stuck with me to this day - "In some parts of the world, especially Africa, life is extremely cheap". His own father was butchered in front of him in Uganda. Against that backdrop, and similar, I am sure our "racist hell hole" is a comparatively better proposition from an economic and safety view than their own country.

It not about racism Imo, Thats a side show!! its about left wing extremism and the whiter than white So called socialists trying to cause an unruly Society and undermine the government.. the same people would no doubt have been at Brexit, gay rights and feminist rally's/protests. Anything to try and destabilize the country. What happened to George Floyd was heinous but these movements backed by George Soro are opportunist!!
Gay rights and feminist rally’s/protests destabilise the country? Sounds like you’re outraged by these things, something you accuse others of being in your next post. Did you see the Fathers Day/Labour thread? Outrage is not exclusive to the left.

Should lawyers who represent killers and worse reputation be finished? I have no doubts that some folk on twitter will attempt to close the company because they disagree with it.

Cancel culture is a disgrace like. Agree with me or I’ll destroy your entire existence. Very liberal way of thinking.
