The slave trade started in Europe. The ideology of hierarchy has always been present but as we have become more of a global community America continued to abuse the system for profit. Through mass incarceration, Jim Crow laws and now the privatisation of the justice system. The murder of Trayvon Martin and the acquittal of the man that killed him. It’s America of course it’s going to resonate across the world. We aren’t innocent in this country we just aren’t as openly racist as America.

There were slaves in ancient Egypt. To say it started in Europe isn't correct surely?
 
A silly and ill judged stunt. Although after Reading at the weekend, the reaction to it should have been more considered imho

very worried at what the future holds for this country. It will be the poor that suffer as usual the more divisive things become.

Back to the well known poverty = crime. Hopefully blacks start getting same breaks and the poverty balance will correct. iirc for that to happen blacks just need to get those chips off their shoulders.

That was forced labour, not the capture and trade of Africans to other countries for the wealth and development of another country, the modern day slave trade in other words

If this is about slavery why is it not being rammed down my throat by the media & blm that there are slaves still being sold in africa by africans themselves?
