Black Lives Matter

However looking at the low black turnout at the BLM protests , it seems that the majority of them don’t support the movement .

It's as if, magically, the remainers and extinction rebellion types have another cause to shout to the clouds about.

I’m on about this country not what’s happened in America’s history.
We all know America is a pisspot of misfits .
The slave trade started in Europe. The ideology of hierarchy has always been present but as we have become more of a global community America continued to abuse the system for profit. Through mass incarceration, Jim Crow laws and now the privatisation of the justice system. The murder of Trayvon Martin and the acquittal of the man that killed him. It’s America of course it’s going to resonate across the world. We aren’t innocent in this country we just aren’t as openly racist as America.

There were slaves in ancient Egypt. To say it started in Europe isn't correct surely?

A silly and ill judged stunt. Although after Reading at the weekend, the reaction to it should have been more considered imho

very worried at what the future holds for this country. It will be the poor that suffer as usual the more divisive things become.

Are you not quite the full shilling ?

Why do white lives suddenly matter? (one for the definitely not racist)

Back to the well known poverty = crime. Hopefully blacks start getting same breaks and the poverty balance will correct. iirc for that to happen blacks just need to get those chips off their shoulders.

Translated : It's white people's fault that black people are involved in crime.

So who is at fault when poor white people commit crime? Rich black men?

No self responsibility at all. Just muhh white people's fault.

Serious question, do you think this BLM stuff is uniting the country ?

Off to watch the Stephen Lawrence prog from tonight. That wasn't racist either apparently.

Just coincidence marra. All of it.

Last sentence corrected for you

That was forced labour, not the capture and trade of Africans to other countries for the wealth and development of another country, the modern day slave trade in other words

Do white lives matter? 3 white people just got stabbed to death by a terrorist & the country/media is still more concerned about a black bloke in america being killed.

Where was the pundits & players ranting about their deaths?

Black people dying seems alot more important than white people to me.
Ssssh man ya cant say that.

If this is about slavery why is it not being rammed down my throat by the media & blm that there are slaves still being sold in africa by africans themselves?
