Brian Moore and Barry Davies had amazing voices. And Moore cunted Keegan off in his last official act as commentator.

Brian Moore was a disgrace commentating on our 1/4 final against Palace in 76. Very pro Allison - good pals. Incidentally when Bob Stokoe came he said we would be relegated by Easter. So I never liked him.

Barry Davies was excellent (and quite liked us). I liked George Taylor as a bloke but he was crap as a commentator.

Didn't he commentate on a few our our games in the 80s for a local station metro I think

But the station didn't like his style

remember him being on shoot commentating on our games

Davies and Coleman could lend their commentary to other sports superbly as well.
