And this doesn't even account for the fact that the millions currently on furlough are also (by definition) unemployed.
For huge numbers their jobs won't be there to go back to when furlough ends, and that number grows with every day that lockdown continues.
A year or two from now we'll be reading Dickens novels in awe at the golden age of prosperity they depict. That is is we haven't already burned them to keep warm.

Actually it's not, have to provide more PPE for staff at a substantial cost, max 10 people are allowed to attend so there's no limousines, catering etc, more people are having cremation without ceremony. So yeah, there are more funerals, they are as busy as ever but they are making a hell of a lot less per funeral.
