Time for a new capital city

We pay "not living in poverty" tax. I'll take £1.01 on a pint to live in a city like London.
*Stab City...I am proud to be from the northeast and definitely wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Better standard of most things up here..People, countryside, beaches etc etc

Its really odd. I've been to quite a few UK cities, but I've got no idea what a much bigger one, a 2nd city, might actually look like.

But there's a thing about it, if you don't have business there, you do not go there.

Been to Villa Park & St Andrews a few times, and the Cadbury factory which is on the outskirts. Never been to the city centre.

I'd take higher life expectancy, better standard of living, higher pay and an ability to talk properly over a bit of countryside, personally...

Highly debateable mind.
If I moved to London & got double my salary, my standard of living would reduce.
As I'd go from having a nice family sized house with garage, garden, ensuite & having a car to living in a 1 bed flat & not owning a car.

That is a far point, to be fair. Prices down here are f***ing stupid.

Still wouldn't wanna live anywhere else, though. South London is the centre of the universe 😎
