Why did they set up FPP Sunderland?

I know why JS is not here, but that's not for me to comment on, the investment you mention, 1st just exclude FPP for a second, the 2 other groups of buyers were stating they MAY not want SD around, these others were putting in shit loads of new terms and conditions this changed the deal they are still talking to the club.
Now back to FPP they wanted a controlling stake in the club, they also publicly stated they were unsure if SD and CM would stick around that totally different to what loads on here think.
SD would have been using FPP's money plus what JS had just put in, BUT IMHO I do not think he would pay over the top in wages early on in Jan and then to settle the fans he bought Grigg, monster mistake.
Finally my last bit on this. IMHO I think FPP will wait to see the out come of the ongoing talks with the interested parties to see who comes in, before they decide their move.

Don’t apologise for disagreeing marra, it’s healthy sometimes. SD has lied about the takeover, investment and loan, no two ways about it. That’s just one of a few things he was caught out on. He tried selling to Campbell even before FPP came along, now he’s said he was always looking to investment. They haven’t been able to stop it and made it worse because they are inept, employed their mates and ensured the piss party continued, but on their terms. FPP wouldn’t have a clue who they were and they don’t travel 1000s of miles in a private jet just for the hell of it. If FPP don’t want us, fine, if their intention was to invest in those 3 knuckleheads, thank fuck then. However SD hasn’t the first clue how to run a football club, the whole place is a shambles, now he took the risk thinking he could make a few bob, so he should take the rough with the smooth and fuck off losing money and selling the club for what it is worth, not what he thinks it is worth so he can save some Wonga and buy some poor bastard other club

I was at the meeting when Charlie said we have an offer off a party to buy the club, but that was not FPP, as some on here know it was a totally different set up altogether.

It's a fact though you idiot , sd openly told fans it was a takeover then clearly told fanzines and media that it was done .
Then there was weeks of silence until alan Nixon or the mail broke that the takeover was off
Sd & cm have told countless lies since being at the club yet you continue to hang out the back of them and wont have a bad word said,

Not what I mean mate. He categorically said that FPP didnt want to buy the club, then said that is why Dell never got involved because it was too risky to buy a football club. They must have wanted to own us, Dell was only interested in investment. Since Dell never got involved it’s safe to say FPP wanted to buy us
