It does although I'm sure a journalist posted a sub section of the rule that said something along the lines of if they didn't get a conviction abroad but it is reasonable to assume that they would get one in this country they could fail it on that.
Mind you, that said It would be impossible to take MBS to court never mind get a conviction no matter what evidence was there in this country or any other.

I'm not saying the take over will go through but i think the whole piracy thing is all smoke and mirrors when it comes to being a sticking point

You're probably right. Not something I'll ever understand myself. I can say Defoe was a good striker for them without wanting him to do well. I can agree that their club's been run badly but still enjoy it. My partisan opinion of them doesn't mean I'm blind to what is actually real.

Bruce has Almiron, Saint Maximin and inherited a good defence. Bruce signed off on Joelinton (where Benitez didn't think he was worth £40m). The defence has got much worse and Bruce has no idea how to fix it.

Benitez signed Rondon against the club strategy and it was a resounding success for player and team. Are you giving Benitez credit for signing him? Doesn't scan with your usual position of criticising anything Benitez did.

You're missing the point. They're human beings. Of course they have to apply the law but if there's a grey area where it can go either way you can almost guarantee they are not going to be coming down on the side of the Saudi's.

id heard it had fallen through about 10 days ago. To repeat that wasn’t concrete but the source undoubtedly knows more than any of us do. Since then I havnt read or heard anything to doubt that. Maybe it’s being worked out maybe it isn’t but my personal prediction is it’s off by middle of next week.

"The source" - ffs why not just wait until the people who are doing their jobs have done actually done their jobs and make an official announcement instead of second guessing everything.

We did both intimate without divulging way back then iirc, we will soon see if whatever info is from the same page

I am not, nor ever have been itk to be fair

Perhaps but the fact everyone knows about the piracy puts the PL in an extremely difficult position. My reading is they are delaying until exclusivity ends as a hint to Ashley to sell to the other lot, which will then be rubber stamped.

my only claim to an ITK was announcing the teams the day before a derby about 8 years ago !! I’m basically just gossiping as I’ve plenty of time on my hands !

Who knows mate, I wish they would hurry up and make some sort of announcement either way, this checking for new news each day is tedious as fuck.
