Brilliant.

Attack is a little worse, defense is much, much worse.
Few shy of 500 lines.

That’s compared to the other sides in the league. How do your own stats compare?

I seen Jamie Redknapp has upset the Geordie Nation. He made a comment about players preferring London to Newcastle.

Players also happy with south Manchester, which is where most of Everton/Liverpool/Burnley/Man City/Man Utd players live. China has shown that if you way top dollar you can attract talent but will the (potential) new owners play absolutely exorbitant salaries? Of course they won't. Check out Man City transfers when they were first taken over, that is the level they will be aiming for - . When they got Txiki Begiristain, as DoF, in 2012 the calibre of signings significantly rose.

if I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 time’s, Steve Bruce is doing no better nor worse than Benitez.
In fact if anything he’s doing better in the way he had to lose his goal scorers and was given Jolinton in return.

But, but, but......

Of course he is, there's just way too many of your lot determined to undermine what he's managed to achieve.

I can always remember when when Ellis Short took over and we were throwing money around. They offered a big wage to Crouch, he was even seen at Ponteland airport on skysports. Dragged on and on. He waited for a London club.

Bruce may be big, but he’s simply not a big name in football, and that’s probably the only difference in their Newcastle managerial records. Some people were just praying for Bruce to fail so they could continue with their Rafa love in.

This. They absolutely adored Rafa from day one because he was a massive name in football. It made them feel that they must still be a big club if they could attract him.

So, we're just going to ignore everything else? All the evidence that shows that Bruce's team is demonstrably playing less effectively, just ignore that stuff?
I think you're flogging a dead horse mate.
You can point out that the overwhelming majority of players, pundits, managers, and journalists all consider Rafa a first class manager and its irrelevant to them.
You can show them his CV with all the honours and it will be irrelevant.
You can show them all the facts and figures you want and they will all be irrelevant.

The simple fact is they think he is a poor manager because we think he is a good one.
They will think Bruce is good because we think he isn't. ( I think he has done a decent job and much better than I expected)

If the take over goes through and we sign one of the big name managers that the press are speculating on, even if it's Poch or Alegri then which ever one it is they will argue they are rubbish, or a has been.

he was a big name in football and had a glittering CV. More importantly he was a huge step up from dross such as Mclaren and Carver.
Benitez had his ups and downs and all in all did a canny job. A 7/10 at best.
I don’t agree with the lofty esteem he is held in by some fellow NUFC fans. I’m repeating myself but he did no better than Bruce is doing.
Only my opinion of course and I don’t expect all to agree.

I think you're wrong there and it was the opposite. Most Newcastle fans i know thought we where punching massively above our weight when we signed Rafa which is why we wanted to keep him so much as the feeling was whoever is next will be a downgrade.
We where not thinking he came to use because we are big club we where thinking fuck me how did we manage to convince him to come to us.
