Didn't they all eventually move back to London?

Some of those replies!

"She's is being used"
"She's using us as a platform"
"Her boyfriend was a terrorist"
"Why isn't she writing to other companies"
"Nothing we can do"

and yet we were scum of the earth for supporting someone who had pleaded his innocence until the day of his trial. Apologies for bringing that wrang 'un up.

Suppose it depends on the level of proof that is held on these piracy links. I’m not even sure how that would impact on the fit and proper persons test? It’s clearly a complex case as it’s taking time but I guess we have to factor in the current situation as well.

Either way I just wish it would be decided either way and we can all get on with supporting a team that wins fuck all!
 Are you joking pal? Unsure how pirating the Premier League's own commercial product is an issue for their Fit and Proper Person Test?:lol::lol:

She hasn't given her own personal view on the Saudis yet though, I don't think?

Unlike big Mike, who's so evil he merited a discussion in parliament!
It's a potential sticky wicket for her. The Saudis have always supported the Palestinians, which could be contrived as antisemitism if she backs them. However the Saudis are reported to have put Palestinian terrorists on trial recently. As always nobody really knows. The bottom line is that a politician should be nowhere near this issue as they're leaving themselves wide open.

The courts are neither sympathetic or unsympathetic, each case is tried on it's individual merits, on the evidence and it is irrelevant if the people are despicable or admirable.
Do you really think even judges can completely separate politics from legal decisions? I've got news for you: they can't. Yes they have to apply the law but if they can find a way to make the SA govt lose the case, they will.

The problem with corresponding with you, is you only read what you want, and take what fits your agenda. Put yourself at the head of marketing of an EPL supporting brand and think of the reputational risk and the impact it could have on the value of your stock if there is a "Saudi incident".
I think it's the other way round, people like yourself are so blinded by your dislike of Newcastle you throw all logic out of the window.

If you would like to set the points scoring with each other aside though and have a sensible discussion about it:

would I be correct in the assumption that you are saying premier league commercial sponsors generate so much revenue for the premier league that their individual concerns over a future Saudi incident might negatively effect their brand in a way that would result in them terminating their investment into the premier league.

i.e 6 months time 5 journalists are murdered in the KSA and Barclays decide to cancel the sponsorship of league for fear of damage to their brand.

Is this the premise of your argument just so i know what we are talking about.

what a load of absolute nonsense.
Of course they can separate their personal politics from legal decisions, they are a pretty shit judge if they can't.
They apply the law, that's why murders, kiddie fiddlers and rapists get off on technicalities because they are applying the law and not trying a case based on their feelings.

It’ll still go through, absolutely no doubt about it. Just taking more time than usual with the virus.

However I do hope it drags on as it’s enjoyable seeing mags on twitter acting like fannies.

I do think they'll be taken over. But I'm not sure at all that it'll be this consortium in its current form. Whoever chose to go public to the WSJ a few months ago absolutely fucked the Saudis over.
