Not asking for Manchester City but a club that tries to develop its academy and build its commercial revenue with some marketing ambition.

In the fullness of time that model will grow the club and build for a better football team.

You fell into the “they demand success” trap.

Well you don’t achieve any of that shrinking a cost base, stifling investment and being relegated twice. I know that for sure as I witnessed it.

Ashley relegated the mags twice but had saleable assets and got you back into the top flight. It’s exactly how the Saudis will proceed.

I did go quiet in the Mid 2010’s when the full horror of Mike Ashley was apparent.

I guess I had no will to discuss the Sports Direct Arena or why you lot had beaten us. That would really have hurt my feelings.

I used to be Fulwell 87. Master of disguise.

I did go quiet in the Mid 2010’s when the full horror of Mike Ashley was apparent.

I guess I had no will to discuss the Sports Direct Arena or why you lot had beaten us. That would really have hurt my feelings.
