Much of the money he’s had to put into the club was as a result of his own incompetence. So my answer would be ‘fuck no’.
Surely it's be down to Ellis' incompetence? The club were still losing vast sums of money in the month after the club changed ownership. Grigg not being worth more than 1 million but costing multiple millions is a whole different area of financial questions

Ultimately the market will decide the price of the club. But if SD has cost us the dream takeover that FPP seemed, for immoral and personal greed, then he should be hunted down with pitchforks.
FPP could just wait till he crashes and burns. As i said earlier he will still be putting money in to keep it ticking over, who would want to do that for long

1st off its not £20 million its about £15 million bad enough but I did point that out last week. do not believe all these mag journos put out.
SD has agreed to cover it whats the problem stop being a bunch of wet farts. its their business it does not affect the ongoing investment.
They new guys knew about the deficit so just chill ffs
Is that why they ran a mile then?

Chris is agenda driven. He was very close to the Armstrong bid, and he won't miss a chance to have a swipe at the owners, whether it's justified or nor. He was totally wrong about the structure of the deal, and he's been wrong about a number of other things. I thought @KittenMittens was him; my goof. @KittenMittens and I fell out over what could or couldn't be done with the intergroup balance. Ir never occurred to me that they'd be stupid enough (or, if they were indeed pushed by FPP, desperate enough) to do it. It made no sense to me then, and it makes no more sense to me now.

Wouldn't hurt to PM whichever mod is on.

So you dont think an apology will be on it's way then?

Now according to Chris your comment here constitutes as slander, he wasnt part of any deal for the club.... wouldnt it be ironic if you were spreading mistruths on the same thread you accused others of doing so towards you?

I'm giving opinions on here. But I can't comment on what may or may not be in the accounts without seeing them. so, you're right on one level. In relation to the allegations in the Mail and Times, I do know nothing, because the accounts haven't been leaked to me. Save your hate for someone else.
Not hate at all. I just figure you’ve not seen any accounts previously before giving your opinion, so why do you need to see accounts this time without again seeing no accounts.
Sorry mate but that’s a bit out of order. GOM has tried to clarify things on many occasions to fans on this forum who don’t understand accountancy. With regards to GOM posting on past accounts anyone can go on company house website for a few quid which is what he’s done to try and clarify a few things.
I presume you have seen evidence of the evidence
Sorry to hear that mate.
Unfortunately I’m sure there are many others on here too.
Frequently, when talking in general terms. But for something like this, I need to see precisely what is said. The woeful misrepresentation of the original deal by the Mail doesn't make me regard them as entirely credible as interpreters of accounts.
Aren’t they giving out their opinion based on the times article though.

It just f***ing stinks. They’ve come in and rolled the dice on instant promotion and fucked it.

they’ve not put any sort of long term plan in place and used the academy as some sort of fire sale. He hired all his mates with no pedigree at all to work at a club of this size.

he then fucked up our best chance of being owned by some people with real finance clout to drive us forward.

his decision making has been f***ing shocking. to pay that money for will grigg was utterly mental. At the time I thought he was the answer but not at that figure.

then there’s the contracts running out or running down with no indication of renewals happening.

they exactly what they’ve been described as, chancers and cowboys. stay much longer and it’ll be the end of us.

£9m of that is the FPP loan coming in via increasing the share capital. As for what's been spent on what, that won't be known until this time next year, when the 19/20 accounts are published. I suspect that they've had more problems than anticipated getting the wage bill down.
Taking loans to cover the running costs, as many of us predicted. They cant afford to run the club

They need to sell up.
