Yes pal rivals. Less than 10 miles between us.
Back in the day Wolves were in Staffordshire so it was Stoke / Port Vale.
Then counties changed so it's the Black Country Derby.
Boinger seems alright but ask him about Molineux Mix. He'd go nowhere near it.

A Tory c*nt who sold his mate down the river when he was lying unconscious on a hospital bed.
Aye Sheepdip was in the Nuffield with Pneumonia in a bad way when Hall shafted Ashley and sold the club. Remember talking to Hall at Malaga airport just after the Mags were relegated under Shearer and Ashley was putting the club up for sale. I asked him his thoughts, ohh it’s a great deal for someone, giant of a club ...blah blah totally in denial and a slimey twat of bloke. Totally shafted his so called mate Sheepdip.

Shocking mate. A real c*nts trick.

I grew up in Gateshead (felling) always called myself a geordie and was never called a makem until about 93/94 when he had 2 years spouting about a geordie nation. The city is f***ing tiny and most of its support come from the surrounding areas. That fucked a lot of people off. Growing up in the 80s Newcastle were a season away from doing a present day Sunderland.

Have to say I always thought Geordie and Mackem had been a thing. Never realised it was a relatively modern phenomenon

Probably in 3-5 years time id say

Eh? You really think the Mags will go down?

Based on what?

Everton have spent £250 million+ in the last few years, sacked 3 managers and are struggling to get into the top 10.

Villa have spend £140 million in the last 12 months and are struggling to stay up.

Same goes for Bournemouth, West Ham who have spent stupid fees on average players

Typical skyboy horse puncher then

Of course you aren't as big as you think you are why do you think most the country see your 1992er mob as deluded bells

When it comes to unwinnable arguments such as club sizes, etc... I always find history to be a good thing to go by.

And the mags have NEVER, not in a hundred years, been a club as big as Liverpool, Man Utd etc...

Why can't they just accept themselves for what they are, a biggish team but never the biggest, just like us

With unlimited cash over the medium term they'd be able to put World class structures in place and the best coaches/management

Exactly

All they'll be doing is paying over the odds for average players at best the top players wont look at them
Im not a Mag mate
I know you always fill your pants about them though as if they're going to be or do something

Its a few words typed on an internet message board

I absolutely loved the John Hall era and also loved Keegan as manager, at the time.
He took a massive gamble in trying to take the club on a magical tour towards the top and potential cups.
He basically mortgaged the club to the hilt in a bid to make it par for the course.

He very nearly succeeded but it needed an ingredient to keep it going that was not easily got and that was running the club outside of the north east, because the north east has been looked at as the low class region for long enough.

If Hall had done this same thing with Newcastle somewhere down south.....say he could pick up the city and plant it far south, he would've made it even on the back of the also ran attempts we did have at that time.

He saw a chance to put the club on the map and to make an absolute fortune on the back of it but as soon as the fairytale started to turn into a horror story he bailed out.

It's a good job Hall sold to someone like Ashley because, if he'd sold it to some consortium chancers we'd potentially be playing our football in league two.
Luckily Ashley took the debt on the chin and the club is still a premier league club as it stands. For that I think Ashley deserves massive thanks rather than the absolute crucifixion he's been afforded all because he made the mistake of incurring the wrath and pet lip of a one time messiah that was loved by me and still appreciated for his stints as player and manager back then but went right down in my estimation once he tried to sue the club for a massive amount of money.

Nobody, not one person, sees Newcastle as big as Man U or Liverpool.
