Lee Ryder getting interviewed about the takeover on BT Sport earlier on. Said , "there is a misconception around the country that Newcastle demand to be in the Premier League, challenging for trophies and that's not the case. We had a banner in the ground saying ' We don't demand a team that wins,we demand a team that tries' and that's all we want,a team that gives 100%". So, from that, can we assume that they think Steve Bruce's team and FSW's team haven't been giving their all?. From what I've seen over the last 4 years or so, they certainly have been giving 100%.. Bit short on quality definitely but not on effort. On a completely different issue, does anyone else think Amanda Staveley is a bit cross-eyed?

Rafa's team tried, Bruce's didn't is the way they'd no doubt play it.
 
One for the older generation... Did the influence of Sir John Hall and his PR give people who grew up supporting Newcastle United in the mid-late 90s a false impression that we are not as big as we think we are?

He managed to get rid of Durham Wasps with his wild idea of a sporting club of Newcastle, that is how he wanted you to be, maybe that is where the delusion was spawned from

What about Bob Murray? I think he done a good job for yous.
