See they are linking themselves with Griezmann today. On another note the amount of Saudi flags being tweeted with ‘Saudi mags’ without having a single clue about how rancid they are is unreal. You know they will be waving Saudi flags at games. Theres literally nothing that would stand in their way of being a successful football club.

Saw him slagging off one of the longstaffs for being motivated by money the other week too.
 
I still don't believe this takeover. If the season is completed, there is a very real chance of relegation.

WTF would pay £300 million for a Club in the Championship?

I am more thinking given the small issue of the pandemic, no football is being played, ticket sales etc, so effectively throwing your money into a black hole at the moment. Who knows when crowds will ever be allowed to attend games again probably until a working vaccine is discovered which could be 18 months. My uncle (over 70) is a season ticket holder and said he’ll not be attending games until it’s safe and I would imagine there’s many similar. Football will take a few years to recover from this as will many businesses. Also as has been mentioned I don’t see why such wealthy people would haggle over price. Hasn’t this gone on for over a year.

I agree it will take time for footy to recover (all of us probably). However I think these potential owners are so rich that they can soak up any financial pressure and have probably taken it into account.

If it happens. Which it probably won’t.
 
Anyone superimposed an Isis flag onto their strip yet as sponsors? I would if I could but I'm a computer numpty.
