I got 8 O-levels (eventually). Engrish Liguage was my nemesis, i failed it 3 times U & 2 D's. went on to 3 A-levels and a degree (a disappointing 3rd). 10 years later my company paid for me to do a masters. with the added maturity i got through that with no problem. Ironically, I moved to Quebec where people used to come to me for advice on written English.

Donโ€™t remember GCSE results but A-B-B at A-Level and a 2:1 at university.

Would love to go back in time and relive one of my years at uni (probably the 2nd year) knowing what I know now.

GCSE's - 2A's 6B's 2C's

Depends in all honesty when you did your GCSE's. I did mine back in 2002, which were good for my cohort then, but for someone who did them in 2012 they would look far less impressive due to grade inflation. I think in the 10 years after me the average GCSE results have gone up by an entire grade. So my equivalent in 2012 would by 2A*'s 6A's 2B's. Likewise someone who got my results in 1992 would arguably be more impressive than me.

Didn't do as well at A Levels - CDE, largely because I had given up on school work then, which I regret.

Did get into university (through a foundation year) and got a 2.2 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, followed up it with a Telecommunications Masters achieving a 2.1/merit.

I didn't work hard enough at A Level/undergraduate which I regret as I say largely because I didn't know what the fuck I wanted to do with my life back then and had no motivation, I just fell into Engineering because they suited my A levels at the time.

After enough years of work doing it I'm now going back repeating my A-Levels looking to do second degree. Currently doing Maths, Physics and Chemsitry, so we'll so how that goes now I'm more mature.

Did just enough, never revised, never really took school seriously despite being in the top set. Think I ended up with 1 A in PE studies, 4 B & Cs & 2 D's in French & Computer Studies - I failed that through not revising, it was the section on hardware , so just memorising (AKA the revision) that cost me. It just came across as a waste of time I mean I was actually writing basic Spectrum games from scratch at home & created a Spectrum fanzine where I actually got sent games/posters/adverts to review/use by the big Software companies :)

I got 2 A Levels, A grade, back in the day when it was less common. But I failed one and as a result couldn't enjoy the others.
BA and an MA which was non work related, and which didnt help me employment wise. But I enjoyed it.

Iโ€™m not trying to scaremonger, but I know quite a few people that have been fired for putting false grades on CVs/applications. Banks especially really take it seriously.

I joined the army at 16 as a boy soldier and basically threw away my O levels, even though I was at grammar school and doing well.

Without any further formal education apart from resitting level 2 maths and English, Iโ€™ve no regrets, even though it was a stupid and immature thing to do.

Iโ€™ve been teaching at level 6 for 17 years.

Didn't do them, I didn't go back to school after my dad killed himself when I was fourteen.
I kind of went off the rails for a few years.

They wont find my results because some idiot burned my school down.

6 GCSEs ( first year to do the new qualifications) all C and above. But got one U in CDT just because the teacher was a complete wanker and sat to do the exam ripped up the paper and walked out!

U's, I'm sure I've picked up a few of them over the years too.

Thanks for reminding me marra.

I got 10 A*s and 3ยฝ As at GCSE, then 3 As at A Level (and an A at AS) and a 1st in my degree. Dropped out of my teacher training and 6 years later I still don't really know what to do with any of it.

3 As, 6 Bs & 2 Cs & 1 D in my GCSEโ€™s which was decent.

CCD for my A Levels in Law, English Language & Maths. Was shite.

First class honours in my degree which meant I got a job immediately.

Basically, Iโ€™m of the opinion that the degree is the only one that matters really.
