Cost me £800 for flights, accommodation and match tickets. Spent £400 when I was there.
I'll spend more on accommodation next time though cos I'll be staying over the Atlantic coast suburbs. City bowl was an experience but I won't be heading back.

9 days in CT, 4 days at Newlands. The £800 included my ticket up Table Mountain and to Robben Island.
Nowt was flash or 5 star mind. Flights were via Switzerland on way out and Austria on way back. Accommodation was s/c in a student block (wifi and the sports channels on the tv were top notch in my room).

I'm thinking about hiring an apartment in Camps Bay next time and telling anyone who wants to come the accommodation is free but pay for your own flights etc.

Real WC hangover stuff today.
I know Denly scored 87 but what is the point? He wont be in the WC 2023 squad, now is the time to bring in new players, the likes of Hain and Cadmore.
I read a stat today that we will only play 44 ODIs before the next WC compared to 88 in the previous 4 years. We need to be looking forward and quickly.....

I think it's five survivors (top 4 plus Woakes). The main thing it shows is how difficult it is to balance bowling attacks between test and OD cricket, particularly if the top order fails.
