How many away games go to general sale roughly each season?
Mixed recently. I think all bar Brentford and burton did in our relegation season from the championship. Only a few did in our first league 1 season but most have went to general so far this season, maybe all of them other than Fleetwood?

Cracking away day this - beautiful City, and great City Centre pubs for a pub crawl pre-match.

5 pubs in/around The Broad, and another 3 not far from the Randolph Hotel.

8 pubs in a 15 minute walk. Sorted my pub route out already.

What's not to like

I used to do a lot of drinking in the late 90s in Oxford as my then-girlfriend' was from there but I've only been back once in the last 10 years. There are indeed a lot of cracking pubs around Broad St.

I was going to do this as a day trip from The Other Place (Cambridge) but I've decided to book a hotel so that I can drive over early on the Saturday, dump the car so that enjoy some pre- and post- match beers in the city centre and rediscover my old watering holes. The Lamb and Flag was always my favourite.

Lamb and Flag is a great pub, and owned by St Johns University next to it.

The 7 pubs I'm choosing to do my ore-match pub crawl are (no particular order):

Rose and Crown
Lamb and Flag
Eagle and Child ( Bird and Baby - Inklings)
The Bear
Turf Tavern
White Horse
Youngs pub - name escapes me ( Corner of Broad Street).

My train gets in by 10.00.....so time for most of them

Young’s pub is probably the Kings Arms

I did pop into the Lamb and Flag when I was in Oxford last year for a conference and I was delighted to find that it hadn't changed at all in the 20-odd years since I used to to drink there regularly (I was trying to explain this to the girl behind the bar but she said she hadn't been born then....) Revisiting your old drinking haunts can often be a miserable experience as they've either been closed down or gone all gentrified.

In a word, no. And any there are are home fans only.

An old watering hole from when some of my mates were studying there. Literally owned by Wadham College, which is right next door.
I'll be the King's Arms meeting daughter who is next door at New College. I've told her to wear her FTM t-shirt. Breakfast at Brown's. Very posh.

Last season went into a pub by ground (trying to remember name) and landlord met us outside to warn us pub was full of Sunderland fans😎. We are the best.

Probably the Catherine Wheel, its about 10 minutes walk from the ground.
The Priory (next to the ground) was forced to close by our slum landlord stacking up the rent.
