That was my take on it too, originally. And that was what pissed me off.
After the investment was announced he told everybody that if he defaulted on the loan then ‘they would own the club which is what most of the fans want’
Just a picture of a paper from when the takeover was actually in progress 4-5 months ago or however long it’s been.
Seems a non story to me as I would imagine the 10 mill loan would automatically put them at the front
Got to be a whoosh! It even references that the club was put up for sale following a fans backlash after Parkinson came in and started badly, so it could only be a month old at worst!
Seems more in context with what's happening now tbf.Just a picture of a paper from when the takeover was actually in progress 4-5 months ago or however long it’s been.
when will folk learn..dont believe a word donald says just look at what he does..And that was what pissed me off.

I know I’m risking getting pelters for even asking but does @Reiver still have contacts with people close to FPP? If so, has he been given any indication as to whether they are still interested in owning the club outright? From what I remember of it (a bit hazy admittedly) they suggested it was definitely meant to be a full takeover initially and they thought FPP were still interested. They did say that they didn't have any direct correspondence with anyone at FPP, but they certainly gave the impression that they were still at the table, and didn't seem to go along with the idea that they were only investing in Donald! If I was to read between the lines (so this is just personal opinion) I was getting the impression that they thought Donald was asking for too much money and that they hoped the statement might make him reconsider, but that wasn't explicitly said
You need to go over the roadI know I’m risking getting pelters for even asking but does @Reiver still have contacts with people close to FPP? If so, has he been given any indication as to whether they are still interested in owning the club outright?

Despite your haziness I think you got the right impression. And even if they did have an inkling what is/was going on with FPP they'd not be able to say. From what I remember of it (a bit hazy admittedly) they suggested it was definitely meant to be a full takeover initially and they thought FPP were still interested.
