FPP

From what I remember of it (a bit hazy admittedly) they suggested it was definitely meant to be a full takeover initially and they thought FPP were still interested. They did say that they didn't have any direct correspondence with anyone at FPP, but they certainly gave the impression that they were still at the table, and didn't seem to go along with the idea that they were only investing in Donald! If I was to read between the lines (so this is just personal opinion) I was getting the impression that they thought Donald was asking for too much money and that they hoped the statement might make him reconsider, but that wasn't explicitly said
I know I’m risking getting pelters for even asking but does @Reiver still have contacts with people close to FPP? If so, has he been given any indication as to whether they are still interested in owning the club outright?

You need to go over the road

As far as I know he isn't hearing anything about it now mate. Think he said the person who gave him info initially was one he was looking at working for but he's ended up not taking the job. A lot of things he's passed on since have been things other people have messaged him. That might change like, or I might have got it completely wrong, but I'm fairly sure he said he won't be likely to hear anything more from the person he spoke to first

Despite your haziness I think you got the right impression. And even if they did have an inkling what is/was going on with FPP they'd not be able to say.
