Lads of a certain age will remember the Mary Whitehouse Experience and the "This could be a potential death trap" sketch that was based on some Scottish lady on watchdog who used the phrase regularly to describe all sors of household items.

Complete and utter rubbish, as has been pointed out 20 times on the thread but you and a couple of others chose to ignore.

Coventry got sanctioned because they theough objects from 50ft above the home end down onto innocent people, regardless of what the object was, that was worth having thier allocation cut. Endless amounts of other away fans have set smoke bombs off in the north upper and not thrown then down, and no one, not one person that I have seen, has asked for those fans to have thier allocation cut. Coventry fans hoyed stuff intentionally into the north lower to hurt sunderland fans.

Its absolutely ridiculous to say that whoever through that smoke bomb onto the side of the pitch yesterday could have our away allocations cut because of it.

Especially considering clubs at this level will rely massively on us coming to town in large numbers. And 99% of fans dont mind them.
99% ? Rubbish. You are talking utter rubbish. They are banned for numerous reason and throwing any item about in a crowd is dangerous. Another one setting themselves up as speaking for the supporters.

Do you realise how allocations are determined? There is a committee between the police, club, local council and other parties to discuss intelligence reports lasting several years where they trend every incident at matches, including smoke bombs, drunk and disorderly arrests, confiscated items, thrown items, pitch invasions, you name it. Every thing that you and every other fan does that’s negative at the match, including the pitch invasion at the end yesterday will go against the club when other clubs sit to discuss our allocation. And allocations are curtailed every single week. The reason we don’t get 10k tickets offered most weeks (apart from at smaller stadia) is due to actions and “rivalries” from past games. Our side of the behaviour against Coventry was also appalling, numerous smoke bombs have happened and don’t go down lightly with the authorities and we’ve invaded the pitch after quite A few goals recently, so we will have a good case to have allocations cut in future.

Doubt the lads on 20 points who miss out on Rotherham away tickets will be that amused with the smoke bomb or the pitch invasion in May.

which allocations over the last few years have we had reduced amount of tickets to? bet you can't name a single one.

we dont get 10k tickets because the grounds aren't big enough and we wouldnt take that many anyway. we take the maximum amount of fans that we possibly can to just about every away game. it is never restricted by this 'committee' . but, just to be safe, all away fans should from now on not be drunk, disorderly, stand, sing, swear or over celebrate. just in case we all get banned

everyone is agreeing that throwing objects into crowds of people is cuntish behaviour.

Sure they’ll think it looks class on tv when they are at home for away games due to reduced allocations too

Shut up man it's a bit smoke. Keep away from car exhausts aswell

Man says grow up and stop throwing things which pose some risk to others, and will result in stadium bans. = common sense.
Fans call him out as been wet = ‘hypocrites’ (see uproar re Coventry fans and consequences) and ‘juvenile’.
There is only one person right in the argument
