None, obviously. The person in question was found guilty of forcefully injecting heroin into a young girl. Presumably to get her addicted and more willing to have sex with perverts. That's good enough for an execution IMO.
I am not saying that person doesn’t deserve to die. I am saying that the system that allows the state to kill them will eventually execute an innocent person by mistake.
Is the death penalty worth the innocent lives it will eventually cost? You can’t have the death penalty without a robust system either or else the state will be able to kill anyone it arbitrarily determines deserves to die.
