Got an Amazon Voucher off work, wasn’t anything I needed, so I just used it buy a Netflix E Voucher off Amazon, added it onto my Netflix account.

I actually tried that myself the other day, thought I would send my wife an amazon voucher using the voucher I had, so I could use it on her prime account to buy a couple of films, turns out you cannot use a voucher to buy a voucher

If you have the receipt you should be able to return it for cash. Just like any other purchase

Unfortunately you can’t get a refund on them. They are activated when they are scanned

There isn't even a way to transfer the funds into my bank account or paypal, how very annoying as I'll never use the gift card so it will just go to waste.

I've got everything I need - my money just goes on fuel, food and beer - I could by a toaster from amazon but I already have one.
