Coverage from who though, national media don’t give a toss about league 1. Unless we make a concerted effort to cause disruption then it won’t make the media.

Dave Jones will agree with it. Reckoned Sunderland were lacking passion and criticised Parky (think he deleted these tweets though). He was basically saying to give Phillips the job, the fans know that he’s not responsible or accountable.

I just think this is the first step of something, good to see this many fans have the same view

There's nothing inherently wrong with all the P.R stuff, but it needed to be one part of the whole project, rather than masking massive failings in investment and infrastructure.

From what I've been reading through this thread, is it essentially the case that Donald can't actually sell the club to anyone but the Americans?

this could not have been timed worse, just before the transfer window opens.

it should be done at the end of January and based on our transfer activity/expenditure, or lack of it. The January window will speak volumes about the owner, and clubs financial state.

if we have a poor window with lack of investment, little or no improvement in playing staff, it will be clear evidence we are fkd as a club. that was the time to turn on the owner.

starting this campaign now and potentially antagonising the owner might jeopardise the extent of the investment he was going to make.

We will soon find out.
