not really, as a presenter he would be having someone screaming in his ear to shut them up and distance sky. Neville is right but sky can’t be seen joining his stance that the government and the opposition are racist. I feel for David Jones, sky have thrown him under a large and sensitive bus.
Maybe I'm a snowflake but he had no need to say that, he doesn't add that little comment after anything else. We all know Gary Neville speaks for himself.

unfortunately it’s the world we live in, it was a disclaimer, it would’ve left sky in a position where they were seen to be agreeing the government are racist more or less.

Mate we live in the age where if someone swears at the ground during a televised match, the commentator has to issue an apology. I’m not the least surprised that when a pundit states on live TV that her majesty’s government and opposition are racist then sky as the broadcaster feel the need to issue a disclaimer.

Reporting allegations of racism, and actually implying that they are racist are two different things mate. That’s what’s happened here.
like it or not ( and I don’t ) sky’s legal advisers will have set guidelines as to what they consider acceptable and what could be litigious.
