Most likely probably a Labour loser.🖐
What has a national tory government done for sunderland? Where's their investment in improving the rail infrastructure in the region? There are 100s of Lens in this city like me who want better for this city and want rid of a failing and failed Labour council and mp s.

Haven't been through for a while. Is the escalator still in a constant state of repair?
Just admit you’re wrong and stop diggingSo we agree Nexus are involved in improvements to the station and the Nexus are funded by the council?
And 7M for the last 'upgrade' we didn't get much for that. That dodgy light wall and ermmm...??? Your jollies to visit other train stations no doubt?
Bu Nexus fund improvements.
Which bit is wrong?Just admit you’re wrong and stop digging

The council contribute to Nexus?
Nexus funded the last revamp of the station?
I see the council lovers have appeared, just like Vaux when it was never the councils fault that they didn't buy the site as the council can't do that type of thing, until they did exactly that year's later.
Who's funded the next station upgrade?
You have told us in no uncertain terms who you don't want. Would you be happy with a Tory council?Which bit is wrong?

There is a railway station over the water that could be used as the main gateway to the town. All the land is currently available on the sheepfolds side to create a main entrance. With bus and taxi drop offs, the lifts are already in place for disabled access at St Peters. What a terrible impression it gives visitors both inside and externally coming to Sunderland. What a carbuncle.Sunderland deserves better.
I am not one who sticks up for the council. But at the time Swallow closed Vaux no one wanted the council to buy the site as they didnt want any more money going into Swallow.Which bit is wrong?

It would be a whole lot cheaper than pouring more money into the hole in the ground that is the current railway station.
It does give a terrible impression and is awful. However, I'm sure that it is fairly obvious. However, as there is no magic wand, we'll have to get on with it until funds can improve it.What a terrible impression it gives visitors both inside and externally coming to Sunderland. What a carbuncle.Sunderland deserves better.
