Even some of his more complimentary comments are qualified. 'The crowds have been fantastic' followed soon after by 'in terms of numbers'.

Kildaremackem-esque

Iv been a big defender of the owners and think Donald is a genuine bloke who is trying to his best for the club. recently CM comes across as he’s against the fans , wether he is or isn’t it’s just an odd way to go about things , rather than keeping the 98% on side he focuses on the negatives towards fans opinions ...even little comments like the club didn’t employ an ex striker last time...it’s irrelevant what happened 30 years ago , what’s for sure is the appointment they made will make or break them. hats off to them if it works it , just feels like we have played it too safe when the place needed a huge lift

He even had a sly pop about the McMenemy appointment man.

The sooner Methven and Donald take their money and leave the better.

resentment is well and truly the feeling with these 2.

Just listened to the podcast on my run. Firstly, the abuse RR is taking on here is just pathetic.

In terms of content, it really sounds like the fan experience is finally going to be addressed. Those of us that actually go to the games have complained for years about the poor service/set up in the SOL; so it’s good action is going to be taken.

I thought Paul Reid spoke well and it was interesting discussion about the academy.

The Donald thing was pretty much what I expected tbh; although CM does raise some serious questions - but that’s for another day 😂. I would say however it’s fair to say that our match going support is different from the keyboard warriors and that’s now been noticed by opposing fans.

Overall, a pretty decent podcast but it’s a shame Coventry wasn’t discussed.

Stewie, is that you?

Seriously, don't take it personally mate - the majority are trying to mention things that will improve the podcasts.

Not taking it personally marra - there’s just not really anything gained on our part from doing these shows with the club’s owners. The lad who did the show has already said he can’t be bothered presenting one of them again based on the reaction and I can’t say I blame him! I’m all for an easy life

To be honest I think on the back of the reaction to this one that we won’t bother doing them again. Not worth all the flack.
Im not sure what people expect yous to do in these podcasts tbh, surely the point is for the club to give the fans a bit of an overview of whats happening at the minute, I thought Graham stuck up for the fans as much as he could, and put questions across from other fans, they should just stop doing them now imo, seems to be to much bad feeling between fans and owners. Maybe thats just on social media though. Lets just hope we spend in January and get out of this league.

Mate, it’s just the usual keyboard warrior stuff. A lot of us enjoy the podcasts

I keep looking at this thread debating whether to listen to it or not! Don t think I'll bother now

Paul Reid is alright in fairness. All of his contributions are measured, thoughtful and sensible and are explained with respect and decorum. He sounded smart.

And there was also Charlie Methven

Roker Report became a propaganda machine for Donald, they had the audacity to patronise anyone who didn’t think winning League One was a formality and with the increased access Donald gave them they had more exclusives, more hits, more power. 90% of what was tweeted/written was utter shite. Likes of Wetherspoon on twitter were constantly shut down for querying Donald and co’s actions when really they should have been questioned right from the start, and now the club is in a bigger mess than ever before
Apparently the Netflix coverage of the Maja/Grigg situation makes Donald and co look exactly what they are- amateurs, and if it does ever get released I wonder what RE’s spin on that will be

The owners used the fanzines to put their message across in a subtle way.

So the alternative is they become the club's mouthpiece?

There's a reason they keep going back to RR and not anyone else - they know they'll get an easy ride.

As fans, they should want to ask the questions that need answering. And fuck knows there are plenty of questions to be asked right now. If they were in the pub, talking to their mates - or even strangers - they'd be able to put up a decent argument, so why can't they now? Fans' driven podcasts and fanzines should be there to represent the fans. If that offends the owners, then so be it, but they should give it a go, otherwise their very reason for being disappears.

For me, a lot of it is down to the lad hosting it now. If you listen to the first one, with Connor and Steward Donald, he was getting stuck in. As they became pals, that got easier. And the new lad has continued from there - the number of times he answers with 'yeah' or 'couldn't agree more' is infuriating, and he never follows up questions. Surely you want to ask those questions as fans?
You listened to the play off pod and thought I was being easy on him?

The podcast isn’t going anywhere! But think it’s about time now we put these interviews with club staff to bed. They aren’t worth the hassle that comes with the fallout from them.

That would be a real shame mate. For years we complained about a lack of access to the board and now we finally have it, elements are still moaning. I suspect those that are shouting the most won’t be SC holders either
