Forthcoming gigs.

It's just all too smooth these days, still an event but a different kind of an event to when I saw them at the Mayfair in Sunderland
Have you given the mics back yet?
The Himalayas some time this week. Any good? Tropical Fuck Storm on Friday.

Surprised by the low turn out for the Pumarosa gig tonight, just from this thread alone thought half the north east were turning out for it. Don't think they'll look back on it as one of their greatest triumphs.

And odd how may people you see with ear plugs in when you look for them as well.

Saw an RnB festival at the weekend.
Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent and Jason Derulo.
Peas were excellent Derulo was good and the others ok I guess.

Elton John next in January I think.

It’s probably too late for my ears but Ive started wearing them. Small venues down here give them out for free.
Got Hugh Cornwall this week
Just booked Warmduscher and Neon Waltz. Neon Waltz seem to have become a four piece if recent publicity pics are owt to go by.

A couple of years ago I saw 3 bands in a week at the Cluny - the Orwells (oh dear), the Districts and Lee Bains III - all were brilliant and well reviewed and the turn out was pretty poor. I don't think he NE is great for people going out and supporting music.
