Wasn't Coton sick for awhile? So we more less had no scouts at all!

You need scouts to function as a club. You need them to look out for new players. But also for young players for your academy and scouts to look at opposition teams. It's bad enough Donald doesn't like stats but no scouts is madness!

If this is true we are an embarrassment. The biggest budget in the league and the most professional club in League One history my arse!

It does explain our very questionable recruitment particularly last season. Same mistakes being made.

I've come across Coton a few times and he comes across as a bit of a cock tbf

No. Lad i know was talking to Coton on the day of the game. I explained it all n fair enough people thought i was bullshitting. That happens. 4 scouts on £50k salary Coton got told, rest of the £500 k budget goes on the scouting system/network.

I don’t agree, our defence has never played well enough for a promotion team. It doesn’t matter if you have midfielders and strikers who should be good enough for promotion if you can’t defend. I would go as far as to say we had one the WORST defences in the division last season ... and that’s based on the players quality and mentality.

Those scouts tout their recommendations to the club whose prepared to pay the highest commission should the players make it

They are just getting the piss ripped out of them, and they said those days were over!
