Tudor watches

I was in the same boat as the OP.

Wanted a Sub and ended up buying a Black Bay. Had it a month and sold it cos it’s not a Sub. I just didn’t like it on the wrist that much. I’d honestly save up and buy what you want otherwise you’ll always just keep wanting it.

My recommendation would be to never, ever settle for less than the one you really want. It will always bother you, and it always costs more in the long run when you eventually sell your Plan B for a loss.

I like Tudor, but I would only buy one that wasn't a cheaper version of a Rolex equivalent.

I've spent the past 5 years or so wanting either an Omega or a Rolex. I decided it would be a waste of money.

I've currently got 13 watches. Some of them I've worn only once. I'm getting rid of the lot (apart from two Casios) and getting a Rolex.

That's definitely the better option and you won't regret it. Whenever friends ask me for advice on getting "their first good watch" I always tell them that it's better to have one that you really love, than 10 that you like.

Sound advice that

Lovely watches but one day you’ll be stood at a bar and somebody in a Rolex GMT will be standing next to you, and you’ll quietly pull down your sleeve to cover your Tudor.

By the time you’ve been served and get back to your Mrs with the drinks, she’ll have fucked off with the bloke with the Rolex.

😂

Worlds best watch.
Awful that like
What’s everyone’s thoughts on them? Beautiful timepieces or Rolex’s inferior little brother?

Thinking about ordering a Tudor Black Bay GMT Pepsi. I’d love the Rolex Pepsi but could never afford the inflated and quite frankly ridiculous market price.

Here’s a pic if anyone’s interested. Retail at £2830.

I think the tudor heritage black bay actually looks nicer than the Rolex but the Rolex feels superior. Both nice watches.

Never ever get a Pepsi though as they're shite

Always thought the Explorer 2 was ugly but it has grown on me massively. I can see the appeal.

Bought the black faced version about 3 or so years back, worn daily and still love it....was that, a sub or a milgauss and think I made the right call.

Mrs (no) has just got a pre-owned gold & stainless datejust, 36 mm, white face, diamond dial.....16 years old, absolutely immaculate, figured that the cash is earning nowt in the bank and the watch won’t lose anything so might as well enjoy it!

Crackers to pay so much for a watch ,in fact it Is obscene.

I love the stainless and black ceramic sub dates. Same they're going for so much now, think I just missed the boat.

It's a thread about Tudor not Richard Mille
