People keep banging on about announcing a press conference, In all honesty i doubt there will be one.

I think all the videos / announcements will be pre-recorded with the new owners. I can't see around 4, highly invested and busy business men, coming back over purely for a press conference upon the day of release.

I could be wrong like.

This is like being on a date and wondering if your going to get asked back for a “coffee”. At 11 pm it’s exciting but by 2 in the morning your too pissed and tired to care any more.

At least that’s how I remember it all those years ago.
Great analogy, E. M 👍

been thinking this myeslf.. lets be honest outside of sunlun no one gives a fck about us.. cant see it being a big event for the media..

Why do people think it should be done in a set timespan which should consider the impatience of football supporters?
It is what it is.
Some business deals are done relatively quick, others take longer, some take an age.

The problem is that someone at the club leaked this to the press around the 22nd of August and said it would be done within a “couple of weeks.”

If they hadn’t leaked it, nobody would be any the wiser and we’d all be able to move on happily ever after.

Will be, the media love wallowing in money stories. Seen tha papers when they find out who's won the Euro Millions.
Euro Millons tut, weve won the American Billions.

You won't be wrong

Perhaps they are waiting for the population of Newcastle to get really really used to the idea first. It could be very dangerous to make a sudden announcement and risk a city of some 300,000 souls completely imploding.

We have to act responsibly.

Its only on here man, 99% of our fans don't even look into this place, and are happy to let things take their course.

That's true my mates who aren't on here seem to think I'm mad when i keep going on about the takeover latest ! They seem to think it might or might not happen and concentrate on how we are playing or not ! Takeover isn't on their thoughts 😂😂

The guys taking the club over are investing money in the club on behalf of their clients one of which happens to be Dell. They will want a return on their spend. So I think this will not be a vanity project like City or Chelsea but rather a money making project as they are buying a distressed asset with upside potential and once that potential is realised they will sell. They may even sell us as a championship club

EVERYONE STAY CALM

Dell not on the list, however I don't understand how these things work anyway!
Dell is to be an investor (shareholder) but not a company director. Companies house do not maintain shareholder lists, that is the responsibility of the limited company itself. If as one of the other posts noted the three names own 75% of shares then we can infer Dell owns the other 25% of this company (which will then buy the controlling stake in the company Stewart and Charlie used to buy the club).
