Aye, must admit despite the fact I believed Reiver and others who said it was done, I was still a bit anxious. Now that the holding company has been created, however, I'm pretty relaxed about it. @Grumpy Old Man might know differently but, although I know it might not be completely done yet, I would imagine there is very little chance of a deal falling through if they've gone as far as creating a holding company ready for when it completes. Surely you wouldn't do that if there was anything that could affect whether you went through with it still to be resolved. Assuming that's right I don't really mind the wait, I'll still check the thread but it'll happen when it happens, I'll just get interested again when we get to hear about their plans
 
I was told members of the PR and Marketing team at the club had been called back from holiday this week, so I'd expected that would mean an announcement today or at the weekend. I think we'd know by now if there was to be a press conference today.

You would also think that if at least one of the new owners was at the match against Rotherham then something might have been about to happen. Even if you have a jet at your disposal it’s still a bit of a hike to make it to the game.

Hopefully just a case of lining up all the logistics. This takeover will be a bit more complicated than the last one due to the continuation of interests of some of the current owners.

I've no doubts about it happening - the certainty expressed by local papers would have been quietened down by the club otherwise. Looking at other social media platforms (Twitter, etc), there's not the same anxious background as on here. All the same, I'd welcome an early announcement just to calm things down on here.

Cost a couple of hundred quid to register a company , I'm hopefull the fat lady sings
