Donald has taken a club that was on its knees and turned it around to a point where these very rich individuals feel they want to invest their money into it, and they still feel donald is the man they want running the show. Granted there is still things he has got wrong but he’ll be the first to admit to them but on the whole i feel like hes doing a very good job to me

Someone earlier on the last thread made a post which Reiver liked. Basically said that they were near to buying the mags; not the time that is in the press from years ago but very, very recently. Apparently some indication that Ashley "moved the goalposts" at a decently advanced stage which caused them to walk away. If (and it's a huge if) they were near to getting these lads and Ashley f***ing about sent them to us then there will be all sorts of anger on Tyneside

Reading the rumours and witty responses are one of the things that make this forum as popular as it is. It’s just a shame that there are so many keyboard warriors about who use this forum as a substitute for their real lives, as they just put people off posting and everyone loses out.

Thats ridiculous. Theres a load of managers out there that could get a lot better out of this squad.

Recruitment is shocking though, the whole lot of then need peddling
