Last couple of wickets adding a disappointing number of runs in the circumstances, hopefully a bit easier for batting today.....
 
Hope them throwing the bat means it might not be too bad batting for us.

painful one!
143 all out. a small lead. hopefully we can bat time and get a decent total on the board. think if we bat the day out we'll be in a very decent position to win the game

Both about right I reckon, set the target of still being at the crease tomorrow morning and by that time we should have a lead approaching (if not beyond) 200.

As I said earlier though, I do expect the wicket to be easier to bat on as the game progresses.

Their expecting the cloud cover to come back in around 2ish til the end of the day.

So may be a difficult period this afternoon. Started off fine yesterday and cloud came in before lunch and started jagging
 
Notice the stream is about 3 balls behind the scoreboard at the bottom..... Which will be largely annoying when a wicket goes down.

Edit - I've opened the stream in Youtube (removing the top scorecard) and zoomed the browser page to 225% which has allowed me to scroll high enough so the score is off the screen ;)

Murtagh appealed there for a run out at the non-strikers end as Lees straight drove one into the stumps - he's claiming he touched it, he was nowhere f***ing near :rolleyes:

Big appeal against Lees, not out. Pitched outside leg. Lees just looking a touch shaky.

Aye was doing it yesterday.

Tweeted them and made no difference.

Going well in 2 of the other 3 games. Gloucestershire were all out for 200 with Sussex 161/2 in reply.

Worcs 205 and Glamorgan 158/8 in reply. Annoying one is Northants after leics 30 they are 87/2

As we can't see where the ball went. Can't really blame either.

Did we need to run a tight run in the position they have themselves though.

The hesistation from steel implies Lees perhaps wrong to call for one.

We are very good at losing pairs,triples and even quads of wickets for very few runs
Bloody excellent at throwing any sort of advantage away
 
Must be pretty dark, can see the 4 shadows on the pitch suggesting the floodlights are taking over a bit

Murtagh looking dangerous to Steel IMO, he's bowling a lot of cutters.

Edit - there you go. Gets him to meekly chip one to mid on, another slower ball. Poor from Steel who appeared to want to play a shot a minute.
