Takeover Rumours

You need to put a FULL STOP to this takeover sir ;)

I'm knackered with it mate.

I was told it would be last Wednesday, then Friday then told to 'give it up' and tell people this week, before Friday.

I have to say mate, I just stared at my screen and thought, 'How the fuck do I post this?'

The worst thing was that I was told not to post it until I got the word.

I'm like that lass who fell of the North Sea Ferry ...
... a bit wet, quite cute but totally out of my depth

I post everything at top speed while drunk and texting on two phones at once.

My posts are complicated and quote millionaires like Glenn Fuhrman, Ben Brown and Fabrizio Tonna.

The information, regarding flights etc, is checkable.

Yet none of the intellectual giants of the SMB, despite trawling posts from years ago, have been able to land a single f***ing glove on me.

I'm sitting here with a real life human being mate, plus Stella, Captain Morgan and Mr Peroni, laughing my arse off at them.

Seriously mate, I've posted hundreds of times and they just can't find a Reiver slip up ...

... but do you believe they'll apologise when everything I've said comes true?

Or will they scurry off crying while the rest of us are doing somersaults and dreaming of glory ;)
Have you tried Morgan's long lost cousin Ron Zacapa? I can highly recommend it. Hated rum and whisky for years 'cos me dad used to drink Lambs and Bells. Discovered whisky wasn't just Bells after Uni, but took a while longer to find that rum could also be a quality spirit.

I was locked out, I got within 10 people in the paddock stand queue and they locked the gate,I spent the whole time outside the Fulwell listening to the crowd

My first season that aged 13.

Was in Fulwell early years and squashed to fuck at front I was at that game.

I'm on holiday in Florida with the family, father in law is an old school mag, used to go but doesn't.
He's got no need to use internet and I've been feeding him information the last week or so.

I've got him convinced we're now the richest club in the world and Wenger is the new coach
I'm in Florida as well.
Plenty of SAFC tops at Universal this week.
Few scruffy mags as well unfortunately.

Reiver your inbox full.

Don't worry as no real ground breaking info I was sending so no need to clear it.

Time for bed.......been long day on here ffs..

Now. Most respect you.Me inc. But lest not being again it about you. Good guy. Now go to bed and awake knowledge of your posts are sound. You need a sound sleep. Success to your projects.

Pusser's gunpowder strength is the business. I've got half a bottle left. I only drink it occasionally as it tends to bla me barls off & I need to allow time for new ones to grow.

Pusser's gunpowder strength is the job. I've half a bottle left from a while back but arnly drink it occasionally as it tends ter bla me barls off & I need to allow a fallow ter gra new uns. I think the navy lads used to get it in their noggin ration. Nee sandy bottoms....

That went well....
After reading this hiccup of a thread I was thinking you no longer had that half bottle left 😜

Have you spent the rest of your life being early for things :D .... seriously feel sorry for you even after all these years.
We know they've made mistakes, hiring a manager who's not used to L1, selling Maja, buying Grigg, being vague about finances etc etc but they did what they said they'd do and found a new owner.

The only problem I'd have is if they're making the sale difficult by wanting to stay.

Personally I think they're Football Director wannabes and if the deal hinges on giving them the boot then I'm happy to see them set off on further adventures in football away from SAFC.

Going to rename you ilovehorsepittle which was a childish name used for our flame headed cup winner when I was a boy.
Seriously, what these blokes have done is equivalent of saving the titanic from sinking. They are brilliant to have leading the football side of the business. I’ve had enough of having very rich owners who know nowt about football in charge .

It may have been 39 years ago and I was in short trousers then but I remember so much of that day.

My dad got me the day off school (he may have said we were going up for a family funeral, but he wasn't much of a liar so he probably told the truth!). He, my uncle and me (I was ten at the time) drove up from Woking at the crack of dawn. Think we left around 6am. We were probably in Sunderland by about 10am. My uncle had a Jag and he always drove like the clappers, everywhere. When we arrived, my dad got me to surprise my Aunty Hilda who worked in a baker's (Gregg's?) in Sea Road by sending me in and asking me to find out how much her penny buns were. She had no idea we were coming up and her 'Eeeeeeeee…' went on for about two hours.

Anyway, the squad were training down at Roker Beach so we stood and watched them and then we headed off to Roker Park. Got a new Sunderland kit as well as an autograph book in the club shop, just in case. Next thing I knew, the entire team are running past me towards the changing rooms. I just didn't know what to do with myself. Whose autograph do I get? My favourite player back then was Shaun Elliott so I recall asking him as all the others flooded by. Then John Hawley came out and said 'Want me to get all the players' for you, son?' Ten minutes later, he came back out with the book absolutely full. I'll never forgot his kindness for doing that.

As for the game, I remember standing in the Paddock, Clock Stand end. Lad next to me, about my age, clocked my accent and asked 'Are you a Cockernee? Are you West Ham?' Managed to put him right. But what a night. RP was bursting at the seams, floodlights on, such noise. Seem to recall it was a fairly straightforward victory – whether that was anything to do with West Ham having been hungover after winning the Cup Final two days before, I dunno, eh?!

Just hope we've got another day coming like that soon, so my boys can experience something similar.

And I'll be just as bothered as he was

Stew and Meth have been trying to get into big boy's footy for years.

Oxford, Eastleigh, Meth worked for Tottenham iirc. SAFC was their big chance and let's be honest if it wasn't for the Dell lads they'd be in bother.

While Don has done well tidying up the balance sheet and performed good deeds on Twitter, his football decisions haven't been all that and at times been downright naive.

Dell have plopped into their net, it looks like they could pull it off yet something looks to be holding things up.

If Stew and Meth staying or having a say in decisions is the issue then Bye Felicia and hello Dell every time.
