Enjoy Turkey for what it is, cheap sun, grub and stock up on me schnide gear. Enjoy quiet secluded walking/camping in France driving in for some culture, cathedrals and top grub etc.
Enjoy the far east for its winter island sun, ancient culture, teaming cities and cuisine
Man for all seasons, literally. ;)

I really enjoy telling people at work I’m going to Poland/Hungary or Belgium for a week/end and they ask ‘but where are you having your proper holiday?’ Just because a beach isn’t involved

I’m not arsed about lads holidays anymore I’d rather go on holidays suited for my kid to enjoy, hot with water parks etc...I’m not one of these into relaxing sunbathing holidays either get bored straight away.

Not matter where you go, surely there’s a Brit there?
Sometimes, yeah. The odd supermarket abroad. I just keep quiet and hope they go away.

Even in this country you get the odd walker in The Cheviots. Not so bad if they’re local but I can’t help wanting to punch Robson Green if they’re not.

Love any type of holiday, stick me in magaluf on a dirty 4 day bender or stick me in some exotic long haul relaxing beach resort or the hustle of a busy sight seeing city where booze isn’t a priority. Either way I’m happy as a pig In shit aslong as I’m away on my jollies.

Went to New York a couple of weeks ago, pretty much the only time me and our lass have gone anywhere just us two on a holiday in the 15 year we've been together. Really enjoyed it but places like Times Square were ridiculously busy. Being squashed in a crowd with a load of Japanese tourists isn't for me.

Been away together plenty but it's always been weekend breaks or tied into visiting people, or going to weddings and shit like that.

Don't mind a few days getting pissed with my mates in the sun but doubt it would work for the bairn and our lass. I'd fancy a couple of weeks going round Eastern Europe but I bet it'd be dull as fuck for the bairn.

Off to Lanzarote for a wedding next year. Not the kind of holiday I'd look at and think "aye I really fancy that", but it's a good mate getting married and it was easier to justify the cost tagging a holiday onto it.

There is alot of world to explore....never understand people who go to the same place/resort year after year after year.

Proper wrang uns
Weird. I enjoy going to the Lakes at some point every year if I can. Fantastic place and I always get a sense of peace there. Why would I not go back because I've been there before?

Not remotely interested in sitting on a beach or by a pool going bright red either.

I love relaxing beach/pool holidays with Greece being our favourite destination.

We've been going to the same place in the algarve for the last 17 years. Bought a house there early last year. I've done most european countries and not bothered about exploring anywhere else now.
Only thing on my bucket list now is to ship my bike over to america and spend a few weeks pottering around over there.
