I 100% disagree with that last sentence. I hate the American service ethos. Ous much prefer to be dealt with by someone who is rightly miserable than a fake smile and a have a good day. Of course I'm not going to have a good day I'm watching Sunderland

Pisses all owa the miserable UK service ethos, getting ya eyes taken oot in Florida is a much nicer reaming....

Hopefully they will try to follow the Germans and Spanish and fill the stadium with cheap season tickets.
Bescause we have the land and design of the SOL we can and we should. Cheaper seats but bigger merchandise and catering contracts.

We let kids in cheaply and we build our support for decades to come. Lets reclaim parts of the NE that the mags took from us in the 90s.

Generally isn't fake though. They are just happier people and take pride in their work. Unlike the miserable kernts over here who think everything should be handed to them on a plate without actually working hard for it.
Totally agree. People are happy to serve in the USA here its seen as beneath them to serve others. I have NEVER had a bad experience with service in America its absolutely brilliant and I always feel that the staff really care.

Agree 100% this is the way forward.
We sold out a 48,000 SOL when we had a sniff of success in the past so why not.

We are uniquely placed in this country in the fact we own the land around the SOL and thanks to the SOL's design we can relatively easily and cheaply. A 65,000 SOL would look and be amazing and be one of the best football grounds in the world.

Hopefully if we need the further option of an extension on the West Stand we would be in Champions League territory! :) I would love to think it would be needed!!

Cheap seats for kids though...lets build the Club's support for decades to come...thats how Im a sunderland fan as I had the chance to come to Roker Park as a kid...many like me in mainly mag territory.

If it's genuinely been at the EFL stage for a couple of weeks and Bolton got sorted in an afternoon, we should surely be next. I mean, some of us want to start dreaming about the Champions League and the Jordan's coming home... :D

not sure how true this is but I was told that they’ve looked at putting a roof on the stadium! They want to attract all sorts of events to us, different sports and bigger names for concerts. The roof would cost north of £20 million! I was like howld on could that not go in to the club and the reply I got was “don’t worry about that, if they are ready to spend that on a f***ing roof they have plenty to go in to the football side”. All from the same fella who gave me a few bits of info at Rochdale.
NFL at SOL i deffo get tickets
