I agree. We should be all in a better position but the result, deadline day and lack of takeover completion has left me feeling down. Need to man up, 1st world problem, bi-polar, knee-jerker, nappy-wetter and all such insults do fit but I can't manufacture a happy clap at the moment.

This ^ complete inertia until Accrington then another struggle to get a result means the feel good factor will be gone completely

bi polar can be a f***ing horrible condition mate, if people are bandying it around the same as happy clapper then they should give over. Then again man up is nee better. Goons.

To get us out of this league, we don't need much, but we do need a quality addition up front. Without that we're not going up; with that we certainly are.

Ross has shown he can get hold of players with little money and they can shine in this league. He clearly has a team around him who have an eye for a player. He's just missing that one player, but with little money how does he get hold of him?

If this takeover does happen and there's money available, we certainly don't need a Keane shipping loads of money and landing us in a boat load of debt to get us up; we need a Ross who will spend wisely on the right players while keeping us financially on an even keel.


I wouldn't argue with that, but I think Ross deserves a chance given that he was part of a set up that stopped the rot.

Stopped the rot? Its league one and we spent more than the whole league combined, had the best squad and came 5th... it coukdnt have been much worse. It wasnt an impossible job like some make out.

Stop the rot ffs. Grayson has been promoted from this league 4 times and spent a fraction of what ross did

I’m not sure there’s too many left at the club behind the scenes on a cushy number or too cozy since Donald came in and stripped everything back mind.

The sooner this goes through the better. Ive been going since 84 and tbh I'm sick as fuck just like most on here I've watched shite after shite, record low points, humiliation loads of relegations and maybe 1 or 2 good seasons in 35 years

Over the years all I've heard and read from the national and local media loads of pundits is that ah the Newcastle fans have had it rough they deserve success

Well fuck them they have had it nowhere near as rough as us we deserve some success and some real hope

All I want in the long term is a Sunderland team to be able to compete in the premier league at a decent level instead of worrying about relegation from game 1 and maybe winning a cup or 2 in my lifetime
