Didn't SD say if/when funding comes in they'll look at revamping the match day experience. A covered fan zone, quicker catering outlets, more toilets would be a massive start..

I take my hat off to you Riv, you nailed your colours to the mast early doors against a lot of negativity. I have watched the discussion from the periphery wanting to believe totally but Sunderland being Sunderland there was always that shadow of doubt. That shadow has all but dispersed, the more I read from you and others to a lesser extent a few others the more I believe you are right.i raise my glass to you Riv and thank you for your info

Never even knew the Barnsley owner was richer than abromovich

Oh well.. Clearly we'll do the same.. Apparently

It's totally different. They get 'nearly' taken over every year man and their fans buy into it every single time. We've had 1 takeover announced in the papers which was Stewart Donald and now we have a very close one where the people named are seen at the match. Think about why we are excited and why they are delusional....

You don’t know either way, none of us do. Nice to think positively though for change about our club that’s had a rough few years.

Those figures will have been impacted by the free ticket scheme, we used to sell out under Reid and don’t believe there were many free tickets around then.

If we are even reasonably successful the crowds will flock back, oh and plenty of us still travel from further afield even when we are crap;)
