£12m difference in the Premier League when you factor in TV deals is a drop in the ocean. Besides which you've chosen a miserable season for us, if we were competitive there'd be no need for free or cheap tickets.

In my opinion they'd be more likely to look at the corporate aspects which would increase income, credibility and sponsorship.

I wouldn't want the stadium capacity increasing, I'd rather see the place full of people who really want to be there and are happy to pay for the privilege.

If the quality of the players were top draw players of course we'd fill the ground, if Newcastle can sell out at £27 per fan, we can, after all we all live in NE england not exactly renowned for high wages. Plenty of people would travel from further afield if we had a successful team.

Those are horrific figures. It’s easy to see how we got into so much financial difficulty.

Nothing wrong with optimism but some of the comments are becoming increasingly magesque.
At present we are a league 1 club with a league 1 squad, a negative cowardly manager and owners without much capital to take us any further beyond.

Now if these ‘potential’ new owners are rubber stamped and make their intentions clear as to how they want us competing with the big boys then I’ll be delighted but not until.

It doesn’t but much like the mags a few deluded eejits can end up tarring the majority with that same brush.
