Sadly though they wouldn't need the moeny, they'd put the prices up well before they expand the SOL. We had the cheapest matchday price per fan when we were in the Premier League in 2016-17 at summit like £11.50 average cost per fan!
That's why Southampton got over £20m gate receipts which was nearly 2.5 times what we got with our £8.9m. It was the equivalent of £26 a ticket if SAFC wanted to get over £20m revenue on the same average 41K crowd. If it was £38 average ticket price (£714 for a season) like Southampton, would we fill the SOL?

£12m difference in the Premier League when you factor in TV deals is a drop in the ocean. Besides which you've chosen a miserable season for us, if we were competitive there'd be no need for free or cheap tickets.
