Fair enough, am sure it’s great fun but am I right in thinking each team only has 8 home games a season so is a real occasion, do they do the same for soccer games?

I went to an ice hockey game and the fanzone was crap, $10 a can and nowt going on

Though they wouldn't need the money, I think they'd put the prices up well before they even thought about expanding the SOL. We had the cheapest matchday price per fan when we were in the Premier League in 2016-17 at summit like £11.50 average cost per fan! (image below)

That's why Southampton got over £20m gate receipts which was nearly 2.5 times what we got with our £8.9m. It would be an equivalent of £26 a ticket if SAFC wanted to get over £20m revenue on the same average 41K crowd. If it was £38 average ticket price (£714 for a season) like Southampton, would we fill the SOL? This isn't a go at the fans by the way, it's just showing SAFC make it finacially easier for fans to attend than some other clubs do.

We tailgate for everything...at least in Philadelphia. Not sure of every city.

I think people are just a bit excited at the prospect of what is about to happen.

I suspect their intentions are to make the football club very successful. Working capital helps this and they seem to have plenty of it.

If the product was out there on the pitch, then I'd say so. Imagine the early Reid years when the stadium was rocking. Who wouldn't want to see a return of that and more?

So a handful of people on here are going over the top with a few comments, does that make every safc fan deluded
I can never understand comments like yours you could walk in to any pub any office any building site in the country and the odd fan from any club could say something a bit OTT does that make every fan of that club deluded?

Given our area and the way the SOL is designed and land around the stadium we need competitive pricing and we can extend cheapily and easily. With an increased SOL we make more money on merchandice and catering and people seeing a packed 60,000+ stadium, advertising etc.

We are probably uniquely placed in the country to do this (the mags would love to but are land locked as example) and Im sure its in the new investors thinking.
