No worries - natural to assume they do it on accounting basis hence why I asked. Actually good (though potentially not for us) they do it on cash basis as otherwise it's a potentially workaround

Every new contract - all bonuses paid start of following season. Any payoff is agreed paid start of next season. Any deferred consideration transfers can run jump. Loads of manipulation possible on cash basis.

Yeah I just meant in respect of termination payments - the rest is (by and large) done on accounting basis
