Abu Dhabi Red and White
Striker
Had a decent game when he came on - put himself about and looked more mobile.

Agree. Didn't want to see him on the pitch at all but proved me wrong, held the ball up really well.Had a decent game when he came on - put himself about and looked more mobile.
He's everything that Grigg isn't. Strong, an outball, hardworking, a nuisance, even a goal threat at times. He's probably not even fully fit yet, and he's pretty slow in general, but he still somehow looks more mobile than Grigg. I don't know what is the matter with Grigg, he looks really lethargic and slow.Had a decent game when he came on - put himself about and looked more mobile.
This hope is why he hasn't received more criticism.I hate all the Grigg bashing. Once we hit our stride he will bang them in.
Was excellent, gave us an outball, was nice to see the ball stick up front for a change, also enjoyed him bullying their Centre halves, they didn’t want to know at the endHad a decent game when he came on - put himself about and looked more mobile.
I've been thinking and hoping this since we signed him. The problem is, his performances have gotten worse the longer he's been here; he has scored 1 goal in his last 14 games (not even including pre-season), and he doesn't look fit or interested. He desperately needs a goal, but I don't think that would magically solve the problems either. Everything looks wrong. All different players. Grigg is a 10 yard poacher. Wyke is an outball and target man. McNulty plays on the shoulder and closes players down.

Grigg needs to shift about a clem. Reminds me of a tubbier Luke Shaw. He's everything that Grigg isn't. Strong, an outball, hardworking, a nuisance, even a goal threat at times. Both McGeady and Maguire got a lift when he came on. There was a link between the AM and the CF for a change. I like McNulty but the lone striker needs to be able to hold the ball up and not get bullied. Wyke for me has played his way into the 1st 11.Was excellent, gave us an outball, was nice to see the ball stick up front for a change, also enjoyed him bullying their Centre halves, they didn’t want to know at the end
