Portsmouth won't make the play offs ....look average at best....
We have by far the best keeper in the league by far....
Ozturk was outstanding today..
O Nien will run through brick walls for Safc..
Give me 11 of him every day of the week
The performance doesn't matter ....it's the results that counts ....mcgeady is our star ......without him we would be in shit creek....get behind jack Ross ....promotion beckons

Portsmouth will challenge for promotion...no question.

We have added steel to our quality.
 
I know we scored 2 today but defensively they look very decent. I'd love that Burgess in our team. Up front was where they seemed to lack anything.
 
The centre half combination is solid for this level, injury to one will make us significantly weaker.

Leadbitter is more useful than I thought he would be.

We could do with a goal scoring striker.

Mcgeady needs to be wrapped in cotton wool, we will struggle without him.

Players seem up for it.
 
Pompey will be there or there abouts.

Big plus was willis and ozturk cementing themselves as a partnership, O'Nien did well and Wyke looks like he is getting back to fitness. Power playing a bit more advanced would be good too.

Also positive the home crowd held up despite oxford and ipswich and it being on sky.

Unconvincing but good to get three points on the board.
 
JR knows his best CB pairing now. Midfield can be strengthened with Dobson in there. Full back 09 will remain due to nothing better. LB new solid man required please, or that lass who played down the left for USA. One BIG fuck off ctr mid man required, just to frighten the bastards.

All of this yes but JR needs to now run with this and show he can be the man to lead us.......still ?????s though.
 
Conclusion is that Willis is the huge difference in defence for us, compared to last season. Will easily gain us points this season.

Thought pompey created better than us and looked a more attacking threat. See them being in top 6 come the end of the season.
 
It was a tough game but the defence and GK was excellent. Still a bit of tweaking to do in CM as we look a bit laboured and slow at times.

Grigg doesn't want to be here so we could do with another forward in, Wyke looked a right handful when on and we have match winners in McGeady and Maguire.

Good win today that will give the team some much needed confidence.

Who would burgess replace in that starting 11 mate? Think he’s on par with Ozturk personally and not as good as Willis.

He’ll be a good 3rd choice though but won’t come for that.
