As said above it might still be 3 cb + 2 wb but even if it is 442 it just means that he recognises that what he was trying to do wasn't working. In the current atmosphere changing = doesn't know what he's doing, not changing = stubborn/no plan B

That’s the problem, he didn’t change it, he did exactly the same thing despite everyone saying Flanagan should not play on the left side of a 3 and Hume can’t play left wingback. And what happened? Exactly what everyone said, only Ross couldn’t see it.

Totally agree but I just don't see how Ross is going to improve on last season. He never had a settled team and when the crunch came he failed. We have started poorly this year and his attempt to change things through a new system has utterly failed. How on earth is he going to turn things around. Let's hope Grigg gets in the goals tonight and we can start to get him firing because that would be a big boost.

I thought it looked 442 tonight but a few posters are reckoning 352. If he goess 352 he wants sacking.

Names on a team sheet are indicative of bot all marra, I think Jacky boy has shown us that. Mebbes he’s come up with a formation we’ve never heard of. Similar formation to Ulan Bator hotspur when they won the Himalayan 1st division in 1958.
I think I’ll wait and see how they line up.
