Bucket Lists......

Don't really have one as there's nothing I'm desperate to do before I die.
I regret not doing a parachute jump over the Great Barrier Reef when I had the chance so maybe that.
Other stuff that's largely out my hands like getting a film or TV series adapted from my books. Or writing an original screenplay that is filmed. Might have to start writing one if I want that to happen though. I have had stuff on stage which is a start.
The idea of a bucket list seems like you're setting yourself up to fail. If there's something I really fancy doing, I just do it or at least work towards it.

Always thought basing a play around Sunderland's 1973 cup run would be canny. Call it "1973 and all that" or summat.
Does anyone else get the feeling that this life is just a practice and you’ll get another go? I’m like, “ha, next time I’m 17 I won’t make that mistake”.

I'm a realist, you die and you rot (or get turned to ash in most cases nowadays) and that's it.

I think there's a decent crossover audience for football plays so I should capitalise on it. Not going to nick your idea, honest. ;)
I did have an idea about 73 but not sure I could get it to work on stage. Think it is more suited to screen but then you get the whole trying to recreate the seventies problem.

Bet there's a few on here still dress up like the 70's never went out of fashion. They could supply the wardrobe.

My advice, for what it's worth, is don't wait for the time as you'll never do it. Chip away at it, even 100 words at a time, until you have a first draft then shape it to what you want it to be.
There's so much advice out there, a lot of it conflicting, but the one consistent piece of advice every writer gives is just to write.
Incidentally, I bought one of yours a while back. It’s been stacking with the others (like planes are Gatwick) and is due next one in. It’s next to Philip Pullman, Romeo Dallaire and Longetich on the shelf.

I could not disagree more! :)

But that would be brilliant if there was some sort of Groundhog Life.... So many different roads I’d tKenNd see what happened. (Especially a decision I made in Divas 1995..... regret it ever since!!)

We are here for a good time, not a long time, whats your realistic bucket list, what do you want to do,what would you like to do?Obviously we would all like to shag Kelly brook or one of the old page-3 models but sadly that aint realistic for most (99.9%) of us.
Anyone who uses the phrase ‘bucket list’ are usually boring as fuck and pretentious.

Before I turn to dust, I would love to be at Wembley, to see the Lads win there (preferably a FA Cup final win)

I've done a lot of travelling in my time, but have still got a few places to visit on my "to do" list.
Rome, Madrid, Hong Kong & Tokyo.

Nowt. Nothing at all. Maybe more holidays when I retire but nothing that would get the SMB seal of approval as I like lying around doing fuck all in the sun. Maybe when I retire and I lie around doing fuck all here I may want to do other stuff but can't really imagine it.

My Dad always said he wanted me to see a Wembley win.
He sounds like he was a great bloke, your Dad 👍

You still might get to see the Lads win at Wembley, one day.
You've still got time on your side, and we can all dare to dream, the impossible (or improbable) dream.

Visit every country - 82 so far but I doubt I’ll see many more.

I’ve done most of mine TBH, I saw The Rolling Stones a couple of weeks ago - that ticked off my final entry on my music list.
Did a parachute jump many years ago, flown a glider, driven fast cars on a track. Been to the Pyramids, walked part of the Great Wall, seem the temples in Cambodia, Peru, and Mexico.....

Loads more.
It's good you have done loads but you need to have some more ( aside from visiting every country), ...
What is it?Only one that I am certain I couldn't do now, when I was a kid I wanted to have a go at Everest,i was fit enough but didn't have the cash, now I have the cash I haven't got the cardio or fitness I had back then.
I reckon Kent's is a shag, but I don't know who.
I'm off to the gym now in my 1.6 TDCi 115bhp Titanium Focus.
That sounds like an iron for some reason 🚐
