when he got the jobhe turned down ipswich because we promised him a "full year" gauranteed. That full year has how expired.
Borrowed time springs to mind then if that’s the case....

Agreed mate. That’s what’s made it more frustrating for me. We played some decent attacking, passing football in the first couple of months of last season so he is capable of setting a team up to do that. Whether he can, or even has the desire to do it again remains to be seen. I like the bloke, he’s young he has potential but ultimately talking about it which he does well, and putting it into practice are two different things. He has a certain amount of time to rectify our situation, I hope he uses it wisely because if he can’t then I think Donald will fire him before the end of September.
Because he has probably read this board. Lots of people on here have short memories. No doubt the next man to be given the job will be welcomed as our next saviour then hounded out after 12 months.
Monaco weren’t a massive side back then , so all the stories that Ferguson was close to being sacked were just made updid he nearly get sacked after the first season? thats odd...the owners said they knew he was the right man..
were moanco less successful than arsenal at that time?
Why are they clowns? they have done a decent enough job for me.Hope you're right but can't see it.....The clowns running the club love his conformity!
That'll be too late.He will get sacked in we aren’t in it around the top 2 after 10-15 games
Because he is f***ing drowningWish people would stop using “he’s out of his depth” it’s the worst term used by fans. How’s he out of his depth we are a league 1 team
I agree...certainly comfort zone.i think hes looking for a way out.. he knows hes out of his depth..
When asked he should have said "yeah I'm shitting bricks as I'm not cut out to manage in this league
It won’t be too late, as we will be in the top 2That'll be too late.
Because he is f***ing drowning
Homesick? He’s shot himself in the foot if he’s said he’s done the job to the best of his abilities.
He’s come up short so far, both in results and league position.
If he’d said something about learning from last season and being confident of improving, he might just have won a few people over.
Instead, he’s effectively said that’s as good as it gets ?! Strange.
That's why I said it would have made this board happy.......well some of you. That's pretty accurate imo
Hope that happens but it won't.It won’t be too late, as we will be in the top 2
Keep clappin'That's why I said it would have made this board happy.......well some of you.
there is a story he was close to being dcked in 1990...but that was four years after he joined..not one..so he must have done usmmat right to get four years..Monaco weren’t a massive side back then , so all the stories that Ferguson was close to being sacked were just made up
Rightly so. Has no excuses for this squad not being top 2 come the end of the season.
He/we did alright last season, given the mess we were in. Of course, we would all expect more from the club this year.
In league position, yes - but that would have been the case even if we finished second last season.
I would hazard a guess Jack Ross hasn't got our worst win percentage of any Sunderland manager. He'll be nowhere near the best, but not the worst.
