He got £18M for managing the sknunks for 3 years. So he banked about £10M and that's on top of the cash he made along with pay offs from managing in Liverpool, Madrid and Milan.

Sorry but a bloke who has earned more money than he can ever spend still chasing money is pathetic IMO.

Claiming that it became inevitable is easy to say in hindsight and the predictable Mag rewriting of history I expected.
 
He's lucky he's so shit he kinda flies under the radar. He left a lass with permanent nerve damage in her face after one of his multiple 'out of character' violent outbursts. Gerrard et al get much worse shite for less.

Could end up being pointless signing. Seems to be low risk one though. One year deal, presumably low wages by Premiership standards.

He does create problems in the box. Also makes CB’s work the ass off...definitely a situation player and not so much an everyday player.

Medicals can be fudged.

Listened to a Merson interview when he signed for Villa from Boro and was really worried about the medical.

Said Villa had already committed the money so he walked in sat down, they tapped his knees with the little hammer, looked in a medical book and went ‘that’ll do’

Probably what we did with Tainio, Mensah and a few others...
