In terms of getting into the right areas we did that a lot more often, the final ball however was shocking. The amount of times the ball sailed through their penalty area with no real accuracy was a joke.
There were a few signs of improvement i think. The centre of midfield competed much better and like i said, we got into better areas. We just have to work on making that count a lot better.
Our distribution from centre back was piss poor and needs huge work. Flanagan is the weak link of the 3 imo.
Hume isnt the answer at left back either. I didnt understand why people rated him last season either. Too lightweight, doesnt fully commit to tackles, doesnt compete in the air and was standing off his man numerous times and allowing them free crosses. A left sided wing back and an attacking midfielder away from making real progress imo.

Saying the players arent up to it then?
I can't stand hearing his voice ,he's slowly becoming as dour as the other Scottish twat.
Learned nothing from last season. SD said he’s let the manager get the players he wants. Said to my lad they will score first. Felt like Deja Vu.

Lose Saturday and go behind early against Portsmouth it could turn a bit nasty I think.
