I'd drop Denley, Bairstow, Ali for Lords. With Jimmy needing resting.
Foakes, Curran and Archer in. Not fussed whther it's Leach or Rashid to replace Mo.

Bairstow is as much a walking wicket as Ali at the mo. Absolutely no point shunting him up the order, especially when he'll only throw his rattle out again if he loses the gloves

First innings absolutely. Not just Smith but Siddle staying in for as long as he did.

But it’s obvious that this pitch is a Test batsman’s dream and we only made a lead of 90, and slowly. I said at the time that 90 was nothing. Barely took a session to clear. We basically batted the First innings like we should have batted this one. That’s what really pisses me off about these big hitters. They go for it like Roy did today in a Nothing situation but we’re pretty timid when there was actually call for an aggressive dominating posture.

Some very valid points there, fair play.

Mind you, its not saying much for either sides batting line ups really as not many have shone.

The ODI transformation has been incredible, but he's made our Test side an absolute embarrassment. Floppy hatted prick.
